Melody Rose, NACD, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Partner at WittKieffer, providing executive search and advisory services to higher education institutions. Previously, Melody held various leadership positions, including Chancellor of the Nevada System of Higher Education and the Oregon University System, and President of Marylhurst University, focusing on organizational improvement and student outcomes. Additionally, Melody has contributed to the National Association of System Heads as a Principal and Senior Fellow, advancing initiatives for educational equity and talent development. An experienced academic leader, Melody also has a robust background in politics and governance, holding multiple degrees from Cornell University and a B.A. in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
