Rodney Lawrence Raphela is a qualified Medical Scientist currently employed at Wits Health Consortium since February 2023. Previously, Raphela served as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at the South African Tuberculosis Vaccine Initiative from April 2016 to April 2023, where specialized laboratory procedures were performed. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Medical Scientist at the University of the Free State, focusing on quality control and laboratory duties from April 2015 to March 2016, and a role as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of Limpopo from January 2013 to February 2015, which involved various preparation and maintenance tasks. Rodney Lawrence Raphela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology and Immunology obtained from the University of Limpopo in 2013.
