Melissa Thorpe is an experienced Supervisory Paralegal at FSA since September 2017, specializing in supervising and training legal staff while implementing conflict resolution strategies. Previous positions include Law Clerk at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, where Melissa reviewed and drafted various legal documents, and roles as a Paralegal III and II focusing on litigation support, legal research, and preparation of case materials. Additional experience includes a Clinical Internship at the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County, assisting clients with post-conviction relief, and earlier paralegal roles involving research and case management. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of New Haven and is pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.
