Sytse Tacoma is a seasoned engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the electric vehicle industry. As the Founder and Director of Motosync Ltd since May 2015, Sytse is dedicated to creating high-performance electric motorcycles in New Zealand, aiming to enhance the country's perception of electric vehicles. In addition to this role, Sytse has held multiple positions at Wisk since November 2019, including Product Owner, Staff Project Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Flight Test Engineer, contributing to innovative transportation solutions. Prior experience includes serving as a Flight Test Engineer at Kitty Hawk and as a Project Manager at Wrightspeed, focusing on efficient electric vehicle powertrains. Sytse's earlier career involved significant project management roles at Aurecon, specifically in rebuilding wineries after the Seddon earthquake. Sytse holds a Bachelor of Engineering with honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
