Jack Painter has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jack started their career as a Barista at Caffè Nero in 2015, where they excelled in preparing espresso based drinks and providing excellent customer service. Jack then moved on to Mitchell and Butler, where they worked as a Team Coach, responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving budget targets through effective team management and sales strategies.
In 2019, Jack joined Network Rail as an HR Graduate, where they gained experience in talent acquisition and management. Jack worked on the Graduate Attraction campaign, collaborating with universities and organizing career fairs to attract new talent. Later, they took on the role of a Project Leader in Governance and Assurance.
Currently, Jack is at WISE, serving as the Head of Products & Services - D&I. Jack co-leads the Products and Services function alongside Katherine Watson and brings expertise in Diversity and Inclusion (D&I). In this role, they manage and delivers training and support measures to promote D&I in STEM industries. Prior to this, at WISE, they held the position of D&I Lead, collaborating with partner organizations to promote inclusivity and gender balance through training and Wise's Ten Steps program.
Through their various roles, Jack has showcased their expertise and passion for promoting diversity and inclusion, making a difference in the organizations they work with.
Jack Painter began their education at Bootham School from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Geography. Jack then went on to attend Alliance Manchester Business School from 2015 to 2019, completing their degree in BSc International Management with American Business Studies, specializing in Management. In 2017 to 2018, Jack participated in a Study Abroad Year at the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, further expanding their knowledge in the field of Management.
