Ryan Oertel has extensive experience in educational leadership and administration, currently serving as Vice President Operations and Vice President of Student Life at Wisconsin Lutheran College since July 2018. Prior to this role, Oertel worked at Elmbrook Schools from August 2014 to June 2018, where responsibilities included Director of Secondary Student Options and Director of Secondary Education. Oertel also held various leadership positions at Muskego-Norway School District from July 2002 to July 2014, including Principal at Muskego High School and Lake Denoon Middle School. Earlier in the career, Oertel was a High School Social Studies Teacher at the School District of Waukesha from August 1998 to June 2002. Oertel holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Marian University of Fond du Lac and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Teaching from Marquette University.
