Rafael Diaz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology transfer and entrepreneurship support. Currently serving as Licensing Manager and Manager of the UpStart Program at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation since July 2011, Rafael has played a vital role in enhancing visibility for minority and women's entrepreneurship in Wisconsin. Prior experiences include positions as Licensing Associate and Licensing Special Project Intern at WARF, as well as various roles in sales and application support for Roche Diagnostics and Guillermo Harding y CÃa. Ltda. Rafael holds multiple degrees, including an MS in Biotechnology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA in International Business from Universidad de Talca, complemented by postgraduate courses at prestigious institutions such as Tufts University, Harvard University, and MIT Sloan School of Management.
