George Oliva is the current Chief Financial Officer at Summit Wireless. George has over 10 years of experience in corporate finance, including world-wide consolidation, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cost accounting, payables, payroll, sales commissions, banking, taxes, insurance, stock administration and corporate purchasing.
George was previously the Corporate Controller at Tegile Systems from March 2014 to June 2016. George was responsible for overseeing the finance department for the UK, India and Canadian entities. George also implemented the NetSuite ERP system and integrated it with Sales Force.com, Bill.com and Concur. George also has experience in setting up international legal entities and intercompany transfer pricing.
Prior to their time at Tegile Systems, George was the CFO/ VP of Finance at Penguin Computing from January 2009 to December 2013. As CFO, they were responsible for Finance, HR, Banking and Vendor relationships. George successfully orchestrated a turnaround of the business which had negative equity and no working capital. George converted $8M of Debt to Equity, factored receivables and negotiated vendor credit. George also developed a business model with the General Manager by line of business and implemented an operating plan to achieve profitability and break even cash flow. In addition, they managed working capital to facilitate over 100 percent revenue growth and 12 straight quarters of profitability.
George Oliva has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. George also has a certification from the California Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.
Their manager is Brett Moyer, CEO. They are on a team with Ed Green - VP Operations, Tony Parker - Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, and Keith Greeney - Vice President of Engineering.
