Simon Schneiter

Electronics Design Engineering Architect at Wingtra

Simon Schneiter has a wealth of experience in the field of electronics design engineering. Simon began their career in 2005 as a Senior R&D Engineer in the Photonics Division of CSEM. In 2009, they moved to Centro de Inovações CSEM Brasil as a Senior R&D Engineer. In 2011, they were promoted to Senior R&D Engineer at INVENT VISION, where they led the electronics development group. In 2013, they took on an Electronic Design role at Mesa Imaging AG. In 2014, they became a Senior Electronic Design Engineer at Heptagon, where they were responsible for the design and development of a new time-of-flight 3D camera platform, embedded software design, sensor control logic, and design for production and testing. In 2016, they were hired as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Enclustra GmbH. Most recently, in 2022, they accepted a role as an Electronics Design Engineering Architect at Wingtra.

Simon Schneiter attended Kantonsschule Rämibühl Zürich from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained their Maturität in the Mathematisch/Naturwissenschaftliche Matur field of study. Simon then attended ETH Zurich from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained an MSc in ITET (Information Technology and Electrical Engineering). Simon also holds a certification in MSc in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zurich.
