Scott McTavish has over 19 years of experience in the geospatial industry. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as a GIS/GPS Project Manager at Williams Associates. Scott then worked as a GIS Technician at the City of Kitchener from 2003 to 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a GIS Project Manager at Forsite Consultants Ltd. In 2007, Scott founded Accuas and served as its President and Founder until 2015. During their time at Accuas, Scott was credited as the founder of the commercial drone surveying space and managed a team of up to 18 employees. Scott was responsible for overall growth of the business, with a focus on business development, sales, sales management, marketing, product development and R&D initiatives. From 2015 to 2016, Scott worked as a Principal - Drone Mapping Consultant at SkyPoint Drone Network and Consulting. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Sales Engineer and Sales Executive at Kespry - Drones at Work, managing SME and enterprise accounts across Canada and achieving an average of 125%+ quota attainment per quarter. Most recently, Scott has been working at Wingtra since 2018, first as Business Development - North America and then as North American Sales Manager.

Scott McTavish graduated from Western University in 1999 with a degree in Geography, specializing in GIS. In 2020, they obtained a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration.
