Florin Badea has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Florin started their career in 2003 as a Chief Engineer at GRIMALDI EUROMED S.P.A., where they worked until 2006. Florin then joined Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG as a Chief Engineer from 2006 to 2007. In 2007, they transitioned to Wärtsilä Services Switzerland AG, initially as a Commissioning Engineer from 2007 to 2009, and later as a Senior Superintendent from 2007 to 2021. Currently, Florin Badea is working as a Technical Expert-Customer Operations Expert at WinGD – Winterthur Gas & Diesel since 2021.

Florin Badea obtained their bachelor's degree in Engineering from Constanta Maritime University, where they attended from 1989 to 1993.
