William Sommers is an experienced higher education administrator currently serving as the Vice President for Enrollment Management at Wilson College since July 2020. In this role, William oversees undergraduate and graduate admissions, financial aid, and student financial services, managing a team of 15 and an operating budget of $1 million. Prior to Wilson College, William held the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management at Shepherd University from April 2016 to June 2020, where responsibilities included the oversight of admissions, financial aid, registrar, and IT services with a team of 36. William also served as Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania from June 2013 to April 2016, focusing on strategic enrollment planning and student retention. Earlier, William was the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management at Colorado Mountain College for over a decade, supervising enrollment services across multiple campuses.
