William Herrmann is the founder and managing partner at Wilshire Phoenix. William has over fifteen years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to Wilshire Phoenix, they were a managing partner at Lightheart Management Partners. William also served as the director of the Hedge Fund Association from December 2018 to July 2022. Herrmann began their career at BNY Mellon in November 2005 and served as the vice president of dealing and trading before leaving in June 2017 to start Wilshire Phoenix.

William Herrmann attended New York University for their undergraduate and graduate studies.
