Karleen Strayer, CFA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in municipal research and public finance. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Municipal Research at Wilmington Trust since November 2011, Karleen previously held the position of Managing Director at both National Public Finance Guarantee Corp. and MBIA Insurance Corp. from February 2009 to October 2011 and 1992 to 2009, respectively. Karleen began a significant role in the financial sector as Vice President at The First National Bank of Chicago, where employment spanned from June 1985 to November 1992. Karleen holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
