Maggi J. Apel is a seasoned professional in sales and marketing, currently serving as the Senior Sales Lead at Wilmington Media + Marketing since July 2021. Apel has been a Co-Director for WILMA Leadership and part of WILMA Magazine since April 2014. Previous roles include Vice President of Sales, Interim Vice President of Sales, and Events Director for the Greater Wilmington Business Journal and WILMA Magazine from April 2014 to June 2021, as well as an Account Executive at Wilmington Media + Marketing from December 2008 to April 2015. Early in the career, Apel gained sales experience at Ganz from May 2007 to November 2008. Apel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from The Ohio State University between 1990 and 1995, with further studies at Pikes Peak State College from 2004 to 2005.
