Hunter Crumpton MacIntyre has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Project Manager at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, where they assisted in the hiring process for over 200 employees and played a role in the grand opening and marketing of the Employee Fitness Center. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Education & Quality Manager at Coastal Carolinas Health Alliance, overseeing workflow development, education, and quality improvement. Hunter also contributed to the establishment of the state's first bi-directional Health Information Exchange and engaged in value-based contracting to save an estimated $6 million. In 2011, they briefly worked as a Fellow at Quality Enhancement for Non-Profit Organizations (QENO). In 2016, they joined Novant Health as a Physician Relations professional, providing recruitment, onboarding, and outreach services for Novant Health Coastal Market. Hunter filled a growing need for providers and served as a resource and advocate for Novant Health NHRMC providers. Hunter is currently working as the Director of Physician Recruitment at Wilmington Health, starting in 2023.

Hunter Crumpton MacIntyre completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Health Communication and Marketing from the same university in 2011.
