Amy Fuchs is an experienced Surgical Coordinator with a strong background in managing surgical schedules and office procedures across various healthcare settings. With professional tenure at Wilmington Eye since February 2017, Duke University Health System from February 2016 to February 2017, and Raleigh Eye Center from 2008 to February 2016, Amy has honed skills in organization, prioritization, and collaboration with multiple surgeons and hospitals. Previously, as a COA at Johnson Optometric Associates from 2002 to 2008, Amy developed strong patient relationships while efficiently completing necessary tasks. The role of COA/Lasik Coordinator at Carolina Eye Associates from 1996 to 1999 involved promoting and coordinating Lasik surgery with patients. Earlier retail management experience was gained as a Retail Store Manager at Belk and Bruce Alan from January 1983 to January 1996. Amy holds an Associate's Degree in Accounting/Business Management from Johnston Community College, completed in December 2019, and attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1983 to 1986.
