Cynthia Yang currently serves as the Operations Director for Central Marketing and Communications and as the Global Operations and Finance Manager at Willow Creek Community Church, a position held since June 2019. Prior to this, Cynthia held significant roles including Human Resources Generalist at J.A. Watts, Inc., where expertise in recruitment and process improvement supported organizational growth, and Director of Human Resources at Midwest Computech, focusing on strategic recruitment and successful HRIS transitions. Additional experience includes academic advising at the University of Missouri, event management at Red Frog Events, and journalism roles at KOMU-TV and KBIA Public Radio. Cynthia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism with a Minor in Leadership and Public Service from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
