Ellen Hird is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Development Engineer at Willoughby City Council since August 2022. Over the years, Ellen has held various roles, including Associate Engineer at SMEC and Senior Drainage Engineer at Hyder Consulting. Previous positions also include Senior Civil Engineer at Taylor Thomson Whitting, Senior Water Resources Engineer at URS Corporation, and Civil Engineer at Parsons Brinckerhoff. Earlier in Ellen's career, roles included Civil Engineer at RailCorp and Project Officer at Sydney Olympic Park Authority, where involvement included the demolition of the North and South stands of Stadium Australia.
