Valerie Speirs is a Designer at William Rawn Associates, Architects, Inc. since June 2023. Previously, Valerie served as a Student Instructional Assistant at The University of Virginia School of Architecture from June 2021 to May 2023, focusing on foundational studio courses. As a student at the University of Virginia from August 2019 to May 2023, Valerie engaged in teaching assistant roles for undergraduate curricula. Valerie gained practical experience through positions such as Extern at KieranTimberlake and Architectural Extern at MGA Partners in early 2022, along with an internship at MBB Architects during summer 2022. Earlier experience includes working with the Ocean City Beach Patrol and as a Lifeguard for Mainland Recreation Association from 2016 to 2020. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia.
