John De La Garza has extensive experience in the construction industry, currently serving as a Construction Manager at William Lyon Homes since May 2016. Previously, John held similar roles at WhiteStone Custom Homes and Gehan Homes, overseeing new home construction projects and ensuring adherence to specifications, schedules, and budgets. John began their career with the City of San Antonio and the City of Austin as a Plans Examiner, reviewing commercial construction plans and advising on building code compliance. Additional experience includes serving as a Superintendent for various home builders and as a Cannon Crewmember in the US Army. John earned a degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville from 1992 to 1996.
