Suzana Barboza Carvalho is an experienced professional in data science and engineering, currently serving as the Engineering Manager for the Data Platform at willbank since November 2020. In this role, Suzana oversees the data processing and consumption platform, enabling multidisciplinary teams to autonomously manage their data. Previously, Suzana held positions as Data Science & Analytics Manager, managing a team of 40 specialists in business analytics and data science, and as Data Science & Analytics Coordinator, focusing on credit card and digital account analytics. Prior experience includes data scientist roles at Ipiranga, where insights and methodologies were developed for loyalty programs, and at Propz. Earlier in Suzana's career, software engineering was practiced at Visagio and internship experience was gained at Vale, with foundational work in data analysis conducted during a scientific initiation scholarship at CNPQ. Suzana holds a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Universidade Federal Fluminense.
