Dan Morgan currently serves as the Senior Editorial Director for Social Sciences and Humanities at Wiley, having joined the company in December 2024. Previously, Dan held several key positions at the Public Library of Science (PLOS) from March 2019 to December 2024, including Director of Internal Communications and Strategy Enablement, where responsibilities included building internal communication strategies and advising the Executive Team. Dan's earlier experience includes roles at University of California Press, where leadership included launching and overseeing open access journals, and a lengthy tenure at Elsevier that encompassed various management and editorial positions, focusing on publishing strategy, open access initiatives, and journal development. Dan began a career in marketing as an Account Manager at KMS-Grays and holds a BA (Honours) in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
