Andrew Schmidt has extensive experience in contract management and mining engineering, currently serving as Contracts Manager at Wiley since March 2017 after holding roles as Senior Contract Administrator and Contract Administrator. Prior to Wiley, Andrew worked at Rio Tinto from February 2010 to August 2015, where positions included Senior Mining Engineer, Mining Engineer, and Graduate Mining Engineer. Andrew's career began as an Undergraduate Mining Engineer at Thiess from December 2008 to July 2009. Educated at The University of Queensland, Andrew earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from 2004 to 2009, following a high school education at Maryborough State High School between 1998 and 2003.
