Courtney Germain is an experienced educator and manager with a strong background in equity, inclusion, and anti-racism initiatives. Currently serving as an Equity, Inclusion & Anti-Racism Coach and Elementary School Teacher at the District School Board of Niagara since September 2018, Courtney has also worked as a Long Term Occasional Teacher and an Occasional Teacher. Prior to this role, Courtney held various positions at WildPlay Element Parks, including Duty Manager, overseeing operations and guest services, and Zipline Team Lead. Courtney's earlier experience includes teaching French at the Halton District School Board and logistics planning at XTL Transport Inc. Additionally, Courtney has worked in customer-facing roles at Staples, Panini Cafe, American Eagle Outfitters, and Home Hardware. An alumnus of Brock University, Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education, specializing in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education.
