Jorge Ahumada currently serves as Chief Conservation and Impact Officer at WildMon and as Executive Director of Wildlife Insights at Friends of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, both roles initiated in 2024 and 2023 respectively. Since 2019, Jorge has been a Global Futures Scholar at Arizona State University, contributing to the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory and the Center for Biodiversity Outcomes. Previously, from 2018 to 2023, Jorge was Executive Director of Wildlife Insights at Conservation International, where responsibilities included vision setting and fundraising for a global wildlife data platform. Jorge's academic career includes notable positions as a Professor of Practice at Arizona State University and leadership roles within Conservation International’s TEAM Network. Academic background includes a Ph.D. and Master of Arts from Princeton University, along with a B.Sc. from Universidad de Los Andes.
