Dave Neu

Conservation Certification Reviewer at Wildlife Habitat Council

Dave Neu is a professional Wildlife Biologist with over 35 years of experience in land management, currently serving as the Owner of NatureSpace LLC since October 2017, where services include native landscape design, habitat restoration consulting, and wildlife habitat management planning. Neu also acts as the Sustainability Coordinator for the Village of Grayslake, leading sustainable initiatives since September 2022, and is a Conservation Certification Reviewer for the Wildlife Habitat Council. Previous roles include Project Developer at Davey Resource Group, Executive Director at Conserve Lake County, National Director of the Leopold Conservation Award Program at Sand County Foundation, Regional Wildlife Field Supervisor for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Senior Regional Wildlife Biologist for the National Wild Turkey Federation, and Senior Wildlife Biologist for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Neu holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Wildlife Management and Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, as well as a certificate in Landscape Design from the College of Lake County.
