Sitha Som is an experienced conservation professional currently serving as Landscape Project Manager at the Wildlife Conservation Society since February 2015, where responsibilities include supervising project staff and collaborating with governmental organizations and NGOs. Previously held roles include Landscape Technical Advisor and Conservation and Monitoring Advisor, focusing on conservation activities, stakeholder engagement, and technical guidance in biodiversity projects. Sitha also has extensive experience with Conservation International and Nam Theun 2 Power Company, managing monitoring and evaluation programs and leading community outreach efforts. Sitha holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Studies, a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Wildlife, Fisheries, and Aquaculture at Mississippi State University.
