Dan Purdy is a versatile professional with extensive experience in both writing and outdoor guiding. As the Founder and Lead Writer at BestDraft LLC since August 2019, Dan manages a team to produce diverse written content while overseeing the company’s online presence and partnerships. In addition, Dan serves as a Trekking Guide for The Wildland Trekking Company, contributing to a new program in New Hampshire's White Mountains. Previous roles include Volcano Guide for Quetzaltrekkers Leon and Mountain Guide for Manshausen, where Dan demonstrated leadership in guiding multi-day expeditions. Dan began a technical career as a Sustaining Engineer at Cirrus Aircraft after earning a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. Further training includes certifications as a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician.
