Shawn Geer is an experienced pastor currently serving at Renwick Baptist Church since February 2020. With a background that includes a lengthy tenure as pastor at First Baptist Church of Plainfield, IA from August 2002 to February 2017, Shawn has also contributed as chaplain for Plainfield Fire Department and as a first responder for Plainfield EMS. In addition to pastoral roles, Shawn has worked as a pest control technician at Wil-Kil Pest Control Company since February 2017 and held the position of general manager at Airparts Inc. from August 1990 to September 2001. Shawn holds a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Central Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Human Relations from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
