Selene Yang Rappaccioli is a Research Fellow at the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society since January 2024 and serves as a Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Senior Specialist at the Wikimedia Foundation since May 2020. In addition, Selene holds the position of Regional Lead for Latin America at CHAOSS, focusing on internal consulting around community processes related to diversity and inclusion. As a Facilitadora autocuidados digitales feministas with AKAHATÁ, Selene conducts workshops on feminist care practices in digital spaces. Selene earned a PhD in Social Communication from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, where studies concluded in December 2023. Prior roles include project coordinator at TEDIC and consulting positions with FAO Paraguay and UNFPA Paraguay. Selene's academic credentials also encompass a Master's degree from Universidad Nacional de La Plata and a Bachelor's degree from Universidad Centroamericana, Managua, complemented by international research experience at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
