Mayur Paul is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in international development and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Movement Communications at the Wikimedia Foundation since January 2021, Mayur has an extensive history of leadership roles, including contributions to Amnesty International UK as a board member on the Campaigns & Impact Sub-Committee until October 2023, and as Director of Digital and Communications at King's College London Students' Union. Previous positions include Head of Communications and Campaigns at organizations such as CARE International UK and HelpAge International, as well as early career experience as an Executive Journalist at The Times of India. Mayur holds a Master's degree in International Development Management from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Delhi University, where distinctions were earned.
