Dr. Allan Chang is a Professor of the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Radiological Sciences at the National Yang-Ming University in Taipei. Previously he served as the Dean of the School of Biomedical Science and Engineering. Dr. Chang was also a Member of BioTaiwan Committee of the Executive Yuan of Taiwan. Dr. Chang is the inventor of 3 MRI contrast agents (ProHance®, Squibb; Omniscan® and Teslascan®, Nycomed Imaging) marketed worldwide, with > $1 billion cumulated sales of ProHance® in 2020. Dr. Chang contributed over 410 SCI/conference papers/reports and currently holds 24 Patent certificates. His scientific expertise and current research include theranostics, lanthanide chemistry, biopharmaceuticals, biosensors, and nanomaterials. Dr. Chang received his Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, and his B.S. in Chemistry from the National Taiwan University.
