Shawn Javid is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various technology and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as President and CEO of Acrowood since 2014, Shawn has led the company in producing high-capacity equipment for the forest products industry. In addition, Shawn is a founder and member of WholesaleBackup, a company specializing in OEM and white-label online backup solutions since 2004. Previous positions include Chairman, President, and CEO of Insightful Corporation prior to its acquisition by Tibco, and SBU President at Mathsoft. Educational credentials include a PhD in Image Processing from UCL, an MSc in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
