Reece Roling is currently a Civil Engineering Intern at WHKS & Co since June 2022, gaining experience by collaborating with structural, transportation, and municipal engineers. Internship objectives include improving project plan reading skills, enhancing safety awareness on construction sites, assisting the company surveyor with job site tasks, learning to draft professional documents, and obtaining exposure to diverse job responsibilities. Previous experience includes serving as a Computer Science Office Assistant at Iowa State University from January 2022 to May 2022 and as an Engineer Tech Intern for the City of Marion, Iowa, from May 2021 to August 2021, where Reece worked under the supervision of project engineers and managers, focusing on construction observation and management. Reece is pursuing a degree in engineering at Iowa State University, expected to graduate in 2024, with a high school diploma from Linn-Mar High School.
