Vijendra Sawant has over 17 years of work experience in the IT industry. Vijendra started their career in 2003 as a Technical Support Engineer at vCustomer. In 2004, they moved to eGain Corporation as a Senior Technical Support Engineer. In 2007, they joined Saba Software as a Senior Technical Support Engineer. In 2008, they moved to IBM India Pvt Ltd as a Team Lead - Cognos Support Engineer, where they also served as a Technical Support Engineer. In 2014, they joined IBM as a Manager - Cognos Support Team, India. Currently, they are working as a Sr Manager - Support at WhizAI, where they are responsible for understanding the nuance and terminology of a unique ecosystem which is Pharma/Life-Science.

Vijendra Sawant obtained their Bachelor of Computer Science from ISSC, University of Pune between 1998 and 2001. Vijendra then went on to obtain their Masters of Computer Science from the same university between 2001 and 2003. In 2017, they obtained the IBM Client Success and Support: Professional certification. In 2020, they won the Platform - Cloud Pak for Data from IBM.
