Teresa McNally is an accomplished medical writer and consultant at Whitsell Innovations, Inc. since June 2017. Prior to this, Teresa served as Publications Manager at AbbVie, focusing on the publication portfolio for the Oncology therapeutic area from February 2014 to February 2016. Teresa's extensive experience includes roles at Astellas Research Institute of America, where as Manager of Transplantation, responsibilities included new target discovery and validation for Immunology and Renal Disease, and later as Principal Scientist focusing on transplantation therapeutics. At Abbott Laboratories, Teresa contributed to diabetes and obesity research as a Research Investigator, and began their career as a Research Fellow at The University of Leeds and a Research Assistant at the University of Edinburgh. Teresa holds a PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Dundee, complemented by training in medical writing through an AMWA workshop.
