Sunny Ching Hui Wang is a seasoned professional in arts administration with extensive experience in development roles within prominent cultural institutions. Currently serving as a Major Gifts Officer at the Whitney Museum of American Art since January 2022, Sunny previously held the position of Development Manager at the Public Art Fund from September 2019 to January 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Development Officer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from July 2015 to August 2019, and as a Membership Associate at the New Museum of Contemporary Art from December 2014 to July 2015. Sunny's earlier roles at The Metropolitan Museum of Art involved administration for the Department of Asian Art, where responsibilities included both Associate and Assistant positions from June 2011 to December 2014. Sunny Ching Hui Wang earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Visual Arts Administration from New York University.
