Chris Voegels is a lighting technician currently employed at the Whitney Museum of American Art since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Night/Weekend Supervisor at New York University Tisch School of the Arts from November 2021 to December 2022 and Office Assistant at the same institution from September 2017 to December 2019. Chris also served as a production intern at Ars Nova Theater in early 2019, and as an intern with Transcendence Theatre Company in 2017, providing technical support for carpentry and setup activities. Early career experience includes working as a sales associate at American Eagle Outfitters Inc. in summer 2016 and as a lighting and sound technician with Sonoma Avalon Players from 2012 to 2015, where Chris operated lighting and sound boards for productions. Chris holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theatre from New York University, earned between 2016 and 2019.
