Michael Dixon is a financial professional with extensive experience in leveraged loans and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). Currently serving as Director at WhiteStar Asset Management since July 2015, Michael has a strong foundation in the field, having previously held the position of Vice President at BBVA in the USA from January 2010 to July 2015, focusing on leveraged loans. Earlier in Michael's career, from August 2006 to November 2008, a role as Trader/Portfolio Analyst at ORIX USA Corporation involved high yield bonds, leveraged loans, and credit derivatives. Michael Dixon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management and a Master of Science in Finance from DePaul's Driehaus College of Business.
