Matt Allen is an Investment Associate at WhiteStar Asset Management, focusing on liquid credit investing since March 2023. Prior to this role, Matt served as Vice President of Private Markets Investing & Lending at Goldman Sachs from October 2019 to February 2023, where responsibilities included structured products lending and investing related to NAV lending and synthetic backleverage on Private Credit and Private Equity. Matt also gained valuable experience at BOK Financial from January 2016 to October 2019, initially as a Corporate Finance Analyst followed by roles in Corporate Credit & Underwriting with a focus on the oil and gas sector, and as a Corporate Banking Analyst through a formal training program. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with degrees in Finance and Accounting, as well as an MBA in Finance from Oklahoma State University.
