Natasha Plowright is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Interim Head of Communications at Whitechapel Gallery since June 2023, where responsibilities include guiding the Communications Team during a transitional phase. Previously, Natasha held the position of Director of Communications at The Photographers Gallery for eight years, managing all brand communications and spearheading various audience development initiatives. Earlier roles include Director at Calvert 22 Foundation, where strategic partnerships and organizational restructuring were key focuses, and Head/Director of Communications at the ICA, overseeing major events and partnerships. Natasha also has a background as a Press Manager at The Photographers Gallery and experience as a Film & TV Producer. Educational credentials include a BA in English Literature and Film from the University of East Anglia and an MA in Creative Writing from Middlesex University.
