Sonja Malik is a seasoned reservoir engineer with extensive experience in optimizing reservoir performance across various companies in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Staff Reservoir Engineer at Whitecap Resources Inc. since February 2018, Sonja previously held the same title at Cenovus Energy from September 2011 to December 2017, where significant work included optimizing polymer injection in Pelican Lake Polymer Flood. Sonja's earlier roles included serving as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Enerplus, focusing on waterflood optimization and horizontal drilling programs, and as the Manager of Reservoir Engineering at Epic Consulting Services Ltd., overseeing multiple projects and teams. Sonja began the professional journey at NIS Naftagas as a Reservoir Engineer after earning a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Belgrade.
