Normand Lapierre has extensive experience in the ski instruction and coaching fields, currently serving as a Private Ski Instructor in Whistler since December 2006. Prior to this role, Normand Lapierre was the President and CEO of the Canadian Ski Instructor Alliance from September 2000 to October 2006, and also held the position of President at the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation from September 1994 to October 2000. Additionally, Normand Lapierre was a member of the Board of Directors for Alpine Canada Alpin during the same timeframe. The educational background includes a master's degree in kinesiology from Université de Sherbrooke, which was completed between 1978 and 1980.
