Melissa Burchill

Principal Electrical Engineer at Whirlpool

Melissa Burchill is a Principal Electrical Engineer at Whirlpool Corporation, where since January 2003, responsibilities have included serving as the global hardware capacitive touch Subject Matter Expert, leading modularity and standardization efforts for appliance control units, and being a schematic capture (ECAD) expert. Melissa holds a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from Whirlpool's Operational Excellence program. Previously, Melissa worked as an Engineering Intern at Bently Nevada in 2001, focusing on monitoring systems for rotating machinery, and at Imation in 2000, assisting in new product development through experiments involving plastic injection molding. Melissa earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of North Dakota between 1998 and 2002.
