Barry Hashimoto is an experienced site steward currently working with the Whidbey Camano Land Trust, focusing on monitoring and improving a 200-acre forest and prairie. In addition to environmental stewardship, Barry has an extensive academic background in political science, having served in various roles including lecturer, assistant professor, and global postdoctoral fellow at institutions such as New York University Abu Dhabi and the American University of Sharjah. Barry has contributed to the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition as an advisor and judge, evaluating over 70 teams globally. With advanced degrees in political science from Emory University and diverse international teaching experiences, Barry has published research in reputable journals and designed liberal arts courses for NYU Shanghai students.
