Jamila Diaz serves as the Senior Program Manager for Community Development at WHEDco since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Career Pathways at John Jay College (CUNY) from April 2021 to December 2022, and Senior Business Provider at the Washington Heights and Inwood Development Corporation in 2020. Jamila held multiple positions at the South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (SoBRO) from April 2008 to October 2018, ultimately becoming Assistant Vice President of Business Services, where leadership in business assistance and commercial revitalization was prominent. Additional roles include Economic Development Consultant at TechServices, and Program Associate at Neighborhood Solutions for Women. Academically, Jamila holds a Master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on Public Policy Analysis from Baruch College.
