Mai Xiong is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in community and economic development, entrepreneurship, and financial services. As the Founder, President, and CEO of HMong American Leadership and Economic Development since January 2018, Mai has spearheaded initiatives to enhance economic sustainability in the Twin Cities area. Additionally, Mai serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Magnolia Jems & Jewels LLC and holds positions as Community and Economic Development Officer at the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority, City Council Member for the City of Eau Claire, and former Director of Development for the Special Olympics. Previous roles include considerable tenure at Wells Fargo and ECA Hmong Mutual Association, where Mai developed strategic plans and fostered community partnerships to promote financial literacy and economic growth. Education at Chippewa Valley Technical College is ongoing.
