Charles Watty is an experienced professional in product management, currently serving in the Commerce Trust and Integrity Product division at Shopify since June 2020. Prior to that, Charles held various senior roles at eBay from June 2001 to April 2019, including Director of Product Management, where responsibility encompassed leading teams focused on fraud prevention and marketplace policies. Charles's extensive experience also includes managing trust and safety initiatives, developing machine learning-driven detection models, and overseeing global seller performance standards. Charles began the career as a Senior Producer at Grapevine Software and has held roles at Future Shop Canada Ltd. and Emerge Online Inc. Charles earned a Bachelor's Degree in HBSc from Western University between 1992 and 1996.
