Jennifer Kohnke is an experienced graphic artist and illustrator with a diverse background in editorial and technical illustration. Currently serving as a part-time weather graphic artist at WGN-TV since September 2010, Kohnke creates visuals for Tom Skilling's weather page and assists with digital content. Since 2004, Kohnke has worked as a freelance editorial illustrator with the Chicago Tribune and is affiliated with Tribune Media Services and Newsart.com. Previous roles include a cartographic designer and senior ad creator at the Chicago Tribune from March 2003 to January 2009, and a technical illustrator at Teradyne from 1981 to 1987. Kohnke earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
